Terms of Service

Py Functions provides custom backend development, serverless API design, AI integration, and related software services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for each engagement are defined in a separate Statement of Work or proposal agreed upon in writing prior to work beginning.

Py Functions also offers ready-made software products (such as Synopsist) under their own separate terms. Those products' Terms of Service govern their use.

You agree not to:

• Use pyfunctions.com for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the site or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without written permission.
• Impersonate Py Functions or any of its personnel.

• All engagements begin with a written agreement specifying scope, price, and timeline.
• Invoices are due within the payment terms stated in each agreement.
• Work may be paused or terminated for non-payment after reasonable notice.
• Change requests outside agreed scope will be quoted and require written approval before work proceeds.
• Refunds are not issued for work already completed and delivered.

Upon full payment for a service engagement, you own the custom code and assets Py Functions builds specifically for you under that engagement, unless otherwise stated in the agreement.

Py Functions retains ownership of:

• General-purpose tools, frameworks, libraries, and methodologies we use across clients.
• Any pre-existing intellectual property incorporated into your deliverables (licensed to you for use).
• The Py Functions brand, website, and all content on pyfunctions.com.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business information shared during an engagement. This includes technical specifications, pricing, and business strategy. This obligation survives the end of the engagement.

Py Functions warrants that services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. We will correct defects in delivered work reported within 30 days of delivery at no additional charge, provided they fall within the agreed scope.

pyfunctions.com and all site content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Py Functions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from service engagements or use of this website, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate a service engagement with written notice if the other party materially breaches these Terms and fails to cure the breach within 14 days of notice. Upon termination, you owe payment for all work completed up to the termination date.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website or ongoing service engagements after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
